New chairman of the working group since 01 January 2025

Mr. Kellner-Fendt, who has chaired the working group since the beginning of 2018 and during this time has launched several editions of the orange brochure as well as the initiative to create the turquoise brochure for fish tank processing, has stepped down as chairman at the end of 2024.

Mr. Hans-Peter Popp, a member of the KAB working group since 2018 and head of the fish tank processing working group, took over the chairmanship on 1 January 2025.

The topics of "sustainability" and "international networking" are a focus of the new Chairman's work. It is therefore important to him to work specifically on current trends in the working group and to further increase the international attention that has already begun to materialise.

An initial focus of his work will be to recruit further members from the worldwide LAS community for the working group in order to contribute both national and international expertise.
